The Topic is the generic term of the topic assignment, for example confidentiality; the values beneath it are Keywords (A44, ADR-0004).

• AC1 Creation with code (exactly 3 uppercase letters, unique) and label; description optional. The delivery contains VER confidentiality, KRI criticality, DSG data protection and SUB subject area.
• AC2 The code is immutable (as in A1 AC2), because it prefixes the keyword key.
• AC3 Deactivation sets active = false; Keywords of a deactivated Topic can no longer be newly selected, existing assignments remain and are marked.
• AC4 The list shows code, label (active language), active, the flags and the number of Keywords; filter by active; sortable by code and label.
• AC5 Two flags, both neutrally preset: «multiple» (default yes) allows several Keywords of this Topic per Directive; if it is not set, a second one is rejected. «mandatory» (default no) requires at least one Keyword of this Topic per Directive from submission onwards.
• AC6 Deletion follows A4: a Topic with Keywords is rejected; the Keywords are counted.
