Unit E4 · Screens M5, M8 · MCP dokument_version_erzeugen · Status approved (E4, 2026-09-08; effective in M5 as soon as E5 approves versions)

• AC1 The starting point is a version with status Approved, Effective, Obsolete or Withdrawn (E5 decision 13 of 2026-09-08: Withdrawn added so that a withdrawn document is not left without a path to a new version); if a version already exists in Draft, In Review or Approved, the request is rejected (F4).
• AC2 The new version adopts the header, all Directives including identifiers, order, Keywords, Maturity Level, both Language Variants with their translation states, and image references. The Effective Date is not adopted; the Implementation Deadline only as long as it lies in the future (E5 decision 12, amended 2026-09-08: a past deadline without an Effective Date could no longer be set, F7).
• AC3 Version number: the new version bears the next draft number 0.n; the final number is determined upon approval (first 1.0, thereafter a minor or major version at the Approver's discretion, F3, 2026-09-08).
• AC4 The new version has status Draft and is visible in the document's version list.
